Student owned items
Essential Equipment
Students need to bring essential equipment each school day so that they are ready for their lessons. In Years 7 - 11, these are checked daily by students’ tutors. A list of these items is on the school website here.
Mobile Phones
Students are allowed to bring mobile phones to school but they must abide by the school expectations. Expectations relate to mobile phone and other related pieces of technology, such as smart watches. Expectations can be found here. Any item like this that is brought onto school site is done so at students’/your own risk. Students are responsible for ensuring that they keep their property safe; the school does not accept responsibility for any items lost by a student.
Lost Property
Students are encouraged to label their belongings, particularly uniform items. Parents/carers may be surprised at the amount of lost property that gathers each year and which we are unable to return. Lost property is stored in the Site Office.

Inappropriate or Banned Items
Students need to ensure that they do not bring in any inappropriate or banned items. A current list of items not allowed on school site can be found here.
Please note that items of considerable worth, either financial and/or personal, or any items which could endanger the health and safety of others should not be brought to school under any circumstances.
Please also be advised that there are certain items which, if brought into school, will automatically lead to very serious behavioural consequences such as a suspension from school. Items can also be confiscated and, in some cases, destroyed by school staff or passed to external agencies.
