Charity

Each year the Sixth Form supports at least one charity. At the start of the academic year students are invited to propose a charity to be supported and all monies raised from fund raising events are then given to this charity.

The Sixth Form have held a variety of events including cake sales, sponsored walks and runs and raised over £27000 in the last few years!

Our charity this year is Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SoBS) - visit the website here.Survivors of bereavement by suicide

SoBS are the only UK-based organisation offering peer-led support to adults impacted by suicide loss. SoBS help individuals support each other, at the time of their loss and in the months and years that follow. They aim to provide safe, confidential environment where people can share their experiences and feelings, giving and gaining support from each other.  By fundraising, we are able to help SoBS to provide free and confidential help for anyone who needs urgent support with their mental health.

In the past few years we have supported the following Charities:

Age uk      Jeans for genes day banner    Rainbow trust logo   Shooting star childrens hospice

Sutton foodbank   Sutton night watch    Young epilepsy
