Music Teacher

Cheam high school is looking for an outstanding teacher of Music to join our well-equipped, dynamic and driven team which is part of a friendly and supportive school community.

The successful applicant will be a passionate and skilled classroom practitioner but will also understand the profound importance of extra-curricular music to students’ experience of school life and be looking to contribute to continued development in this area, further raising the profile of Music across the school. 

If successful in application, you will engage with extensive internal and external professional development and be supported to continually improve your practice.  Instrumental ability, theoretical understanding a strong working knowledge of music technology will be of benefit to any applicant.

The school is situated in Cheam, 30 minutes’ train journey from London Victoria and a short distance from Surrey, Merton, Croydon and Kingston. The successful candidate will be provided with a laptop.
