Prince’s Trust Trip

As evidence for the Prince's Trust Wellbeing and Physical Activity units, The Prince’s Trust students had a trip to Battersea Park.

They had the opportunity to ride on the recumbent bikes and although it took a while to get used to steering them, we all managed to do three laps around the outside of the park. Each lap was two miles so in total we achieved six miles of physical activity. We raced each other on the last lap and Miss Burke came in last place and Harry was the winner.

We had our rest breaks at various sites in Battersea Park including the Peace Pergola which was gifted to London in 1984, the boating lake, which unfortunately is not open in term time, and the Water Gardens. It was a great day out.
