Frozen Jr Set Takes Shape!

Last week, the backstage crew for the school’s upcoming production of Frozen Jr spent two days with a professional artist painting the backdrop for the stage.
Based on a design by the Performing Arts Department, this was a huge undertaking and the transformation of a huge, blank wall into a spectacular scene of icy mountains and Elsa’s famous Ice Palace was incredible and thoroughly enjoyed by all participants.
Dave Earthrowl, the artist overseeing proceedings, said: ‘Snow joke – that was a tough two days! But the students were absolutely brilliant and it’s so good to see their hard work has paid off in the final piece!’ (Icy what you did with that pun there Dave…).
Huge congratulations to all involved and we can’t wait to see the backdrop in action when the school production goes live in February. Tickets are available here.
