On Friday 31st January 2025, Year 12 Art students visited a Careers Day organised by the Pallant House Gallery in Chichester. It was a rainy journey but a warm welcome was waiting for us at the gallery.

The event was highly organised, with a range of talks and activities by staff at the gallery, as well as visitors. Students enjoyed informative discussions about architecture by Amy Walker-Smith, Conservation by Sally Marriott, Media Production by Roy Hanney and Art Education by Laura Buckle, as well as bitesized presentations about curating and content creators. 

In addition, we enjoyed a creative workshop making environmentally friendly art, as well as free time to visit the gallery spaces and current exhibitions.

Our students asked very interesting questions and were a credit to our school.
