On the 1st and 3rd of July, two groups of Year 10 students took a field trip to Battersea to find out whether the regeneration of Battersea Power Station has improved the quality of life in the area.

The students visited three sites where they were comparing and contrasting environmental quality, measuring noise pollution as well as asking the general public about their thoughts and opinions of each area.

The day concluded at the power station itself where the students drew their fieldwork sketch of the area followed by some free time to explore the centre for themselves. All students were well behaved and represented the school well, a huge well done from the Geography department!
