Last half term, students from Years 8 and 9 were given the opportunity to learn traditional Imprimatura painting, during a five week painting extra-curricular workshop.

Students created Still Life paintings in the style of the Dutch Masters and were challenged to develop their ability by observing and focusing on one artwork. All the students achieved fantastic outcomes but in particular Serena, Khushi, Ethan and Poppy created some outstanding artworks!
 
This half term we will be running Portrait Painting workshops. There are a limited number of places for students in Year 7 and 8. Students are required to attend all five sessions, which take place after school on Mondays from 3-4pm in A21. They have had the opportunity to sign up on the sheet outside A21 this week.
