Homework Setting

Students are now being set homework via Arbor.   This will display as Assignments.  Students need to be checking the app each day.  Please check that your child is now logged in.  You can find guidance here: https://cheam.sutton.sch.uk/6155/arbor-student-app-student-portal-information

If they are experiencing any difficulties, they should see their Year Team.

This week students have been logging into Arbor for the first time!

• Years 7 and 8 – students were given their log in details and shown how to log in during their weekly ICT lesson
• Years 9 to 13 – students were given their log in details in tutor time and asked to log in via a browser at home or in school

All students can access instructions on logging in for the first time via the below page on our school website – students need to follow the instructions very carefully:

Once students log in via a browser and set their password, they can download the Arbor Student App if they wish and use that moving forward – the app is recommended and has a better user interface than the Arbor website.

Initially, students will be able to access on the app the totals of positive and negative behaviour incidents, attendance statistics, detentions, assignments (homework) and their calendar of events (timetable, intervention sessions etc).

If students have followed all of the instructions and still encounter log in problems please ask them to speak to their year teams initially and we will follow up any issues.
