The Year 7 and 8 Netball Teams both started the season with wins against Oaks Park. These were their first league games and a fantastic start to the season!

Year 7 match report written by Freya F (Player of the Match):

“After school on Tuesday, we played a league game against Oaks Park High School. We won 7-2 and it was a very successful game! At the end of the first third, it was 3-1 to Cheam. After the second third, it was 5-1 to Cheam. We pushed on in the last third and were extremely proud of our performance”.

“What a way to start the netball league with an excellent 8-2 win! We played against Oaks Park and had a great match. Working together, we attacked and defended brilliantly and were determined to do our best. Oaks Park were a great opposition as they still wore us out. I was thrilled to be awarded player of the match. I hope this win will give us a drive for the matches ahead. Good job netball squad!”
