On Tuesday 17th March the Year 7 Indoor Athletics Squad participated in the London Youth Games finals. They made the long journey across London to Redbridge Sports Centre via mini bus and tube!

The girls performed brilliantly and overall were placed 7th in the whole of London. This is an outstanding achievement and they should all be very proud of themselves.

The stand out performance of the day was Ruby MS who won her 6-lap race by a comfortable margin! We await the full score sheets for all other individual races and events.

The attitude, support and overall behaviour of the girls was impeccable. They were an absolute pleasure and delight to be with for the day, so much so that they were deservedly treated to a McDonalds on the way home!
