U14 Girls Crowned Sutton Cup Champions!

The U14 Girls football team produced an outstanding performance to win the Sutton Cup Final against Nonsuch School with a convincing 8-0 victory.

From the first whistle, the girls played excellent football, showing great teamwork, determination, and a fantastic work ethic. Their passing and movement created numerous chances, and they deservedly took a 2-0 lead before half-time.

Unfortunately, the match was abandoned at the half time due to thunder and lightning, with player safety taking priority. The final had to be completed the following week.

When play resumed, Cheam High continued where they had left off, dominating possession and creating chances throughout the second half. The girls worked tirelessly for one another and displayed outstanding team spirit, adding six more goals to complete an emphatic 8-0 win.

The goals were shared between Freya, Nancy, Lucy, Elyse and Riva, highlighting the attacking quality throughout the squad.
This was a superb team performance from start to finish, with every player contributing to a memorable cup final victory. The girls should be incredibly proud of their achievement, commitment and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

Congratulations to the entire U14 Girls squad on becoming Sutton Cup Champions!
