On Thursday 28th November, Cheam High School held an English Day for Year 7. Year 7 pupils played a variety of games to develop their communication, writing and team building skills. Several Year 9s assisted in the smooth running of the day and encouraged Year 7s to participate with confidence and resilience.

It was lovely to see older students guiding and supporting our younger cohort. There were games such as Boggle, Pictionary, Hangman, an emoji quiz, spelling races and Articulate. One game in particular involved students running and swapping words with someone who shared their word class which many enjoyed.

It was a wonderful day for Year 7, filled with excitement and enthusiasm. Thank you to all staff members for helping make this event a success.
