Please see below for details of our upcoming Information Evenings for parents/carers of students in Years 7, 9, 11 and 12:
| Year 11 – Monday 29th September There will be an Information evening for parents/carers of students in Year 11 between 5 – 7pm. The aim of the evening is to provide help and support and share some tips for a successful Year 11 and will include a session from the company Action Your Potential. The evening will consist of 2 identical main hall talks: 5.00 – 5.50pm and 6.00 – 6.50pm. Parents/carers should attend whichever talk is most convenient for them. |
| Year 7 – Tuesday 30th September There will be an Information evening for parents/carers of students in Year 7 between 4.45 – 7.15pm. This evening will provide you with further information regarding how Cheam High School works, as well as an opportunity to have a 5 minute appointment with your child’s tutor to discuss how they have settled into this important first year of secondary school. |
| Year 12 – Wednesday 1st October Current Year 12 parents/carers (students are not expected) will be invited to our Post 16 Information Evening 4.30-6.15pm. During this evening information on how best to support your Sixth Former will be shared and there will be the opportunity to speak with a member of the Sixth Form Team. Please note this evening is not for current Year 11 parents/carers. |
| Year 9 – Thursday 2nd October There will be an Information evening for parents/carers of students in Year 9 between 4.45 – 7.15pm. The aim of the evening is to provide key information for parents/carers about this year and share some tips for a successful Key Stage 4. You will also have a 5 minute appointment with your child’s tutor to discuss how they have settled into this important first year of Key Stage 4. |
For Years 7 and 9 there will be three identical talks in the Main hall that will be held every 25 minutes and last 20 minutes. Times of these talks and information on how you can book the appointment with your child’s tutor will be sent to you shortly. Please be aware that we are only able to offer one appointment per child.
