Feedback has now been received from 80% of our work experience employers and the overwhelming majority of students have been showered with praise!

Employers were asked to rate students on a series of categories, including timekeeping. motivation and communication, as well as adding a final comment. These have made for lovely reading, with students described as; ‘a great team member’, ‘polite, attentive and professional’, responsible and mature’ to mention just a very few.

At assembly on Tuesday, we congratulated the students who had done well and encouraged those for whom work experience didn’t go as well as they hoped, to reflect on the changes that could have been made to make it better.

We are very aware that it was a struggle to find placements and admire the tenacity and patience of students (and parents/carers) when trying to secure an employer. We hope that all students have taken something positive away from their week at work.

Congratulations Year 10, you have made us all proud.
