Summertime in the Library

After what has seemed like months of rain, the library is welcoming back the sun with a series of activities this week. Every lunchtime, there will be a different, summer-themed activity where students can get creative and enjoy some treats and summertime fun. We’ll also be selling chocolate bars containing hidden prizes and will round off the week on Friday with a summer film.

WHEN? Every lunchtime this week, Year 7s and Year 8s.

Cheam High's Free Little Library

We have recently launched our own Free Little Library where students can bring a book from home to exchange with a book of their choice. The concept is simple: leave a book, take a book, repeat! Students can keep their books or read them and swap again – the choice is theirs.

There is no limit to the number of books they can exchange and students have been busily donating and swapping since we launched.  We just ask that books are in good condition and appropriate for secondary aged students. Thank you!

Book Returns

Once again, we are collecting back all our library books before the summer holidays.  We have sadly lost many books again this year and so could we kindly ask for your help in getting them back. Could you ask your children to please check at home for any books they may have forgotten to return; those they find can be dropped into the book box outside the library for other students to enjoy.

Thank you for your support.
