Students from Years 9 -13 had the opportunity to attend two West End theatre trips recently!
On 30th April, Music and Drama students from Years 9 to 13 attended a performance of Hadestown at the Lyric Theatre in London’s West End. This Tony Award-winning musical was a powerful and immersive experience, combining a soulful, folk-inspired score with compelling storytelling and striking stage design.
Our students were completely absorbed by the emotional depth of the performances and the seamless integration of music, movement, and narrative. It was a fantastic example of how live performance can bring stories of myths and legends to life. The students came away with a richer understanding of how sound, staging, and character work together to tell a story on stage. Hadestown is definitely one to go and see!
On 23rd April, Music and Drama students from Years 9 to 13 had the fantastic opportunity to attend Back to the Future: The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre in London.
The production was a visual and technical triumph, with jaw-dropping special effects, innovative staging, and a high-energy cast that brought the story to life in spectacular fashion. Our students were thoroughly captivated throughout and the trip offered valuable
